The Junction

The Junction is located near the intersection of four railway lines in the area, West Toronto Diamond. The core intersection of the area is Keele Street and Dundas Street West.

Presently, the name ‘The Junction’, is commonly applied to the area south of St. Clair, north of Annette and in between Runnymede Road and the Canadian National Railway corridor to the east. Since the 1920s, there was significant commercial development on Bloor Street, which resulted in the area between The Junction and Swansea increasing in popularity and status. Currently, many of the residents identify with the area more as Runnymede-Bloor West Village.
